These Shining Lives is a play written by Melanie Marnich. It is based on the true story of four women who worked for the Radium Dial Company - a watch factory based in Ottawa, Illinois. The play dramatizes the danger women faced in this workplace and highlights the wider lack of concern companies had for protecting the health of their employees.

AGES 16+

Rehearsal will be masked/socially-distanced at the ACT I Studio at 81 Peeples Valley Road SE on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30. Performances will be held on 5/14 and 5/15 -- format of performances TBD.

Please submit your video audition by midnight on March 20th. Casting will take place immediately following final submissions.

VIDEO AUDITION MUST INCLUDE:
- Please slate, including your name, age, and any other information you'd like us to consider (as well as anything else you usually include in your slate).
- Perform a 1-3 minute monologue.
