Join ACT I, Inc. for auditions for Into the Woods.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

AUDITIONS:
Saturday, March 19th from 11am-2pm
Please plan to stay for the entire audition.
Ages 12+ may audition, and we're targeting the 16+ range.
Please prepare:
- 1-minute song selection in the style of the show, please bring a recorded accompaniment that can be played from your device (phone, ipad, etc.) through a speaker
- 1-2 minute monologue that reflects the character you are interested in playing
The audition will also include a dance combination, so please dress appropriately for that.

REHEARSALS:
Monday and Thursday evenings (6:30-8:30)
Saturday mornings/early afternoons (times TBD)

TECH WEEK:
Tuesday, May 31st-June 2nd

PERFORMANCES:
June 3rd, 4th, & 5th

*Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will take place at the ACT I Theatre at 81 Peeples Valley Road.
