The Wonder Hat, which was co-written by Ben Hecht (a.k.a. "The Shakespeare of Hollywood"), is a one-act comedy with five characters: a fickle young lady, her outspoken housemaid, two stuffy young men, and a weirdo with a bag full of bizarre items who hangs out in the park.
